Loca Miraculi, Gallery Two: Ceramica

The Fossils and Agates cabinet was filled with ceramics made to mimic mineral specimens.

Here you see a group of ceramic ware pieces made of different colored clay bodies combined by a process of rolling and cutting to form intricate patterned surfaces that resemble the veining seen in agates.
