During the Early Modern period, the availability of higher-quality glass, coupled with the development of better optical lenses, microscopes and telescopes, led to new ways of seeing the world. The last section of the exhibition features a camera obscura as well as two mirror illusions in enclosed spaces. All of the pieces are interactive.
