The camera obscura in the exhibition does not have an interior mirror, which would rotate the image seen through the camera 180 degrees, making it look right side up to the viewer. Everything seen through this camera looks upside down.

Here you see a hanging tableau of objects that appears on the camera viewing glass. Aside from the hawk on the rear wall, everything is hung upside down.
